Emily Beaumier

These past couple months have allowed me to learn a lot about public accounting and get hands-on experience in commercial audits.

I would like to thank everyone at AAFCPAs for their support and encouragement this summer, but especially the commercial audit team for their assistance with training me.

I am so excited to announce that I will be returning next summer as a full-time audit staff accountant upon my graduation from Assumption University in May! Thank you to everyone for their support throughout this process! #AAFCPAs #greatmindsgreathearts

I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the position of Staff Accountant in the Audit department upon my graduation from Nichols College in 2023! Thank you to Amy Quinn for all of your help throughout the recruiting process. I would also like to thank my mentors John Casassa, CPA and Marissa Newell for taking their time to teach me over the summer. This internship was an amazing experience for me. Not only was I able to visit clients, but I also participated in the planning, compliance, and fieldwork phases of the audit process. Every day I learned something new about what it means to be an auditor. I cannot wait to continue my journey at AAFCPAs next summer!

The past few weeks have allowed me to gain hands-on experience in the audit field, specifically in employee benefit plans, and develop strong connections. I want to thank Amy Quinn for assistance in the onboarding process, my mentor, Kevin Sullivan, for the guidance along the way, the Employee Benefits Plan team, and everyone else that helped me get to where I am today. I am thrilled to share that I will be returning as a full-time Audit Staff Accountant next year! I want to thank my colleagues, professors, family, and friends for all their support throughout this experience . #greatmindsgreathearts
