Andrew Puricelli, CPA
Andrew is responsible for planning and executing financial statement audits for sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including: community development corporations and their affordable housing development projects, community development financial institutions, multiservice human & social service providers, charter management organizations, and foundation & grant-making organizations. Andrew specializes in serving the community & economic development industry, and has extensive experience with tax credit programs, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, federal and state Historic Tax Credits, and credits for use of alternative energy sources. He is also well versed in IRS regulations as they pertain to Qualified Zone Academy Bond (QZAB) and Qualified School Construction Bond (QSCB) issues and post issuance compliance matters.
Andrew has extensive experience in providing assurance solutions in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards, FASB and GASB requirements, as well as those with Massachusetts Uniform Financial Statement (UFR) filing requirements. He also has extensive experience with the preparation and review of Federal Forms 990, Forms 990-PF, and Forms 990-T unrelated business income tax returns, as well as tax returns for affordable housing limited partnerships.
He is an active mentor and career coach, and has been serving AAF clients since 2012.
